Colorado Visit 2013

“I felt a little better already. When you are a child of the mountains yourself, you really belong to them. You need them. They become the faithful guardians of your life. If you cannot dwell on their lofty heights all your life, if you are in trouble, you want at least to look at them. The man who wrote three thousand years ago, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help,” Knew this too. And even Our Lord, when He was weary and tired out and wanted to be alone with His Father, ascended a mountain.”

Loved these pics so much! Yes, we must look to the Lord in the Hills and the plains and drought and rains. You’re a wonderful blessing to your parents and to all who come in contact with you!
The mountains have such a powerful and wonderful pulling for them.
    Blessings Always, Roxy

We sure do live on beautiful land and to think how awesome it is that our heavenly father created it for all of us to enjoy! Signs and wonders have yet to be witnessed!

    Love you Marie!

PS… I saved the black and white horse pic, gonna get that enlarged and copied for my living room! Loved it!!

Oh…. so beautiful. Wow Sweetie, these are amazing. I could just look and look. What a treasure they are for us. Such an amazing time we had with you and the boys, and I am homesick for you as I look. I was looking at the ones I took of you today, and missed you all so much.

We are in Fairbanks right now, and I have
a wee bit of internet tonight, so I am having a little fun catching up on your girls’ blogs while your Dad’s asleep. We have had such an amazing time. We fly out tomorrow. Its dark now; at 11:20, but only dark as if the sun had just set. It was still fairly light at 10:00P.M. I shouldn’t have told your Dad what time it was, because he thought it was 7:00, and was well awake until he found out the time; haha. Let you go for now; can’t wait to call you and enjoy these pics again with you.
    Love you Mom
