Zane, Ezra and I were able to get outside for a lovely little stroll just after the sun started to rise. Surprisingly it wasn’t too chilly for us and the sun on our faces felt so warm.
Yes there were some delightful puddles for a little boy to splash in as well. We didn’t get very far on our walk because a little man just couldn’t resist himself.
These two are always happy to be together. Ezra has always been such a good baby for us but I notice that whenever Zane is not around or taking his nap Ezra will get fussy and bored. His whining tells me he needs his big brother to keep him company which includes the most delightful entertainment.
Ezra is always happy to watch Zane play. Zane is not so happy to watch Ezra play, he usually insists that he show Ezra how its done.
This little guy is such a delight and always so patient but I have noticed the toddler is starting to come out in him. He has discovered the electric outlets as well as the dog food. I gave him some makeup that was closed really well, (so I thought) but this little man figured out how to get into it. 3 minutes later after so much silence had passed I peep around the corner of the dinning room to check my little man and low and behold he had covered his entire face in concealer as well as the first step leading up to the stairs and all the floor that surrounded him.
Zane is 2 1/2 but he insist that he is 3 and counting. I always wonder what happened to his 2’s? He doesn’t seem like a 2 year old at all. I wonder if his brother is going to make up that for him 🙂
Zane is learning new words and sentences daily with his little imagination going it is always so fun to hear what he has to say. When he wakes from his nap, he is usually recharged and all ready to talk.
It is very windy and stormy right now and we are finishing our lunch of pasta and sauce. Jon Berry plays in the background coming from Zane’s favorite Born Free. Ezra has red tomato sauce all over his chubby cheeks, stuffing his little mouth frequently with his chubby little hands probably eating twice the amount of his older brother.
Life is so happy and cozy and I want to make sure I squeeze every last drop out of it.
Thank you Lord for goodness,
